About Your Trainer

GC63

Hi! I’m Dr. Glenda Clare. I am licensed in mental health and addiction counseling. I’ve got lived experience being the caregiver for a relative’s child. I also grew up in a blended family. Let’s work together to figure out strategies that fit your family. Think Possibilities!

Partnership is key – I’m nonjudgmental and here to create a safe space as I lend a helping hand. I will partner with you to figure out your family dynamics – what’s working well and what needs some adjustment. I use trauma-informed, solution-focused practices to help you explore strategies that fit your unique family needs.

When I’m not working, I enjoy good conversation, vegetable gardening and riding my bike. There is so much therapeutic value in watching movies and reading, two of my favorite things. Know that I sometimes give homework assignments that involve movies and books. So much can be learned through witnessing the experiences of others via books and movies.
