About Your Trainer
Josephine Ampaw, LCSW, CSWC, MA, is a social worker, educator, and marriage & family therapist in training. Affectionately known as Josie, she has navigated being both an educator and mental health professional working with all age ranges during the course of her career. She has supported individuals, couples, and families in her clinical practice and has worked in elementary, middle, and high schools as a paraprofessional, teacher, and program coordinator as an educator. She consults with organizations in Denver on creating equitable and inclusive curriculum for their programs.
