Date: May 18, 2026
Time: 5-7 PM EST
– Focuses on the significant impact of hormonal changes during perimenopause and menopause on cognitive function and emotional well-being.
– Hormonal Influence on the Brain: Estrogen and progesterone are critical for brain health, supporting memory, attention, and mood regulation. As these hormone levels fluctuate and decline, the brain’s chemistry and function are directly affected, leading to common symptoms like brain fog, forgetfulness, and difficulty concentrating.
– Defining “Brain Fog”: The term “brain fog” is a common, non-medical descriptor for a range of real, subjective cognitive difficulties, including trouble with word-finding, mental sluggishness, and short-term memory lapses.
