About this Training

This presentation training will delve into the importance of sensitivity, empathy, and awareness when conducting diagnostic assessments. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how trauma can manifest in various mental health conditions and how it may affect the diagnostic process.

About Your Trainer

Rachael E. DuBose was born and raised in the Evanston neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio by her paternal grandparents, who both taught her many of life’s most important lessons through their sacrifice and unconditional love. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in International and Development Studies in 2006 from THE Ohio State University, a Master of Science in Education degree in Counselor Education/Clinical Mental Health Counseling 2012 from the University of Dayton, and has been working in the mental health field since 2010. Rachael’s passion for advocacy, education, trauma, criminal justice, and fighting the stigma of mental illness, especially in historically excluded communities, shines through her work in the community and as the owner of Be the Light Clinical Supervision and Consulting. In her leisure time, she enjoys traveling, being an amateur foodie, and spending time with her amazing husband, Mike.

Clinicians of Color LLC, #1881, is approved as an ACE provider to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. ACE provider approval period: 11/14/2023 – 11/14/2024. Social workers completing this course receive 2 continuing education credits.

articipants who complete this entire training program and its evaluation are eligible for two (2) NBCC hours. Clinicians of Color, LLC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7256. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Clinicians of Color, LLC is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

Credits will offered for Counselors and all other designations will be provided Certificates of Completion.

Course completion requirements: To earn CE credit, attendees must log in at the scheduled time, attend the entire course, and complete an online course evaluation. Certificates of completion will be emailed within ten business days of course completion. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit.
