Why is it so hard to say goodbye when terminating with clients? Let's talk about it in this 1-hour live training with Dr. Lillian Gibson, Ph.D., licensed clinical psychologist.
Objectives for this course are as follows:
- Attendees will understand how to approach therapy termination at the onset of treatment
- Attendees will understand the therapeutic benefits of considering maintenance sessions prior to therapy termination to avoid clients feeling abandoned
- Attendees will develop an understanding of how to craft messaging (scripts) in sessions to help clients process the therapeutic healing held within therapy termination

Dr. Lillian Gibson, Ph.D., licensed clinical psychologist, is often referred to as a “mood make-over” expert, is a highly recommended clinician, speaker, and consultant due to her advanced assessment and treatment skills. Dr. Gibson takes pride in combining her HBCU education in vocational rehabilitation counseling, and clinical psychology to help clients solve their problems through individual, group, or couples therapy for emotional healing and restoration.
