Unpack the process in this 2-hour workshop where you will learn about the socio-political history and current expressions of this archetype, increase your knowledge on the clinical and subclinical impact of adherence to this archetype, and gain skills for supporting clients in deconstructing strength narratives in moving towards radical healing. This will be both powerful and liberating!

About Your Instructor
Jalana Harris, PhD, LCSW-R, is a Licensed Psychotherapist, Certified Hypnotherapist, Certified Life Coach and Consultant based in NYC. She is a full-time lecturer at Columbia University’s School of Social Work and operates a private practice in NYC. As an abolitionist and womanist, her clinical focus is on liberation and soul healing through the prioritization of intersectionality, intergenerational healing pathways and the deconstruction of anti-blackness.
Continuing Education Information
Two continuing education credits can be purchased for an additional $30.
Clinicians of Color, LLC, [provider number], is approved as an ACE provider to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. ACE provider approval period: [dates]. Social workers completing this course receive two (2) clinical continuing education credits.
Course Completion Requirements
NOTE: Tuition includes a free CE Certificate after passing the online post-test (80% passing score) and completing the evaluation). Instructional methods will include PowerPoint, and didactic lecture. Upon completion of the webinar, post test and evaluations will be emailed to participants for completion. Certificates of completion will be emailed within 10 business days of course completion.
