About this Course

About the Course: This 1-hour interactive workshop explains how stress and trauma affect the mind and body. Clinicians will develop and learn a greater understanding of how stress and trauma affect the mind and body by incorporating yoga techniques. We will also engage in a light yoga practice that ends with a deep sound healing.

About the Trainer: Katiuscia Gray, (LCSW-R) is a licensed clinical social worker, certified yoga teacher, (CYT-200hr), certified restorative teacher, yoga nidra certified and kids yoga teacher. She graduated from Adelphi University in 2006 with a masters degree in social work. In addition, she received certification in Yoga in 2016. In 2019, she became a certified clinical child and adolescent anxiety treatment professional (CCATP-CA), and trauma professional. She is the owner of Mind Meets Movement Counseling Services, PLLC, an integrative health practice in Valley Stream, NY, that focuses on creating unique and creative methods, linking mind and body in the process, specializing in stress, anxiety, trauma, and depression.
